Lesson Credits
When lessons are cancelled by the studio, due to weather or a teacher’s illness, you will be given a lesson credit. Throughout the year there will be opportunities to use the lesson credit as we open up some Saturday slots and selected times during school vacation weeks. If there is no opportunity to schedule and use a lesson credit, your tuition will be pro-rated for the amount of the lesson credit in the last month of lessons.
If you do not reply to our attempts to apply the lesson credit, the credit will be forfeited at the end of the studio calendar year.
If you are paying monthly tuition, your tuition covers 46 lessons, plus materials and recitals. There are currently 47 lessons scheduled in the studio calendar. This gives each teacher the flexibility to schedule their own additional week off during the summer at a time that is convenient to them. You are not paying for this week that the teacher schedules off. Additional cancellations by the teacher or studio will be applied as credits per the above policy.
